Today (27.02.2010) my son Mehmet Emir (9 years old), my friends Cumaali, Ahmet Mithat, Muhsin and his son Emin climbed most of Loras Mountain which is 2049 meters high. First the weather was not bad, but later it started to snow heavily. At that time we were close to the cave and we hurried to the cave. I was a little anxious about the children because of snow at first. Later it stopped snowing and I felt relieved. There is a huge cave on the mountain. We lit a fire in the cave and cooked. Today was very nice. My son was proud of doing something difficult because he hadn't climbed that much high, I had taken him lower mountains previously.

Some of my friends and scouts are together with the Director of National Education of Konya.

After finishing our demonstration, we visited our National Education Director Halil Şahin. My scout gave him some flowers on behalf of Scouts of Konya.

On Monday (22.02.2010) Scouts of Konya demonstrated their love. We walked to declare our love to humanity, and nature. My scouts Rabia and Mehmet carried the first banner.

This weekend (20.02.2010) we had a meeting with my scout friends in Meram district. At the end of the meeting a surprise was waiting for us. The president of scouts of Meram Mustafa Ertürk gave us a party of 'raw meatball'. It was so nice. We all were very happy and cheerful to be together. We all thanked him for his surprise. Thanks Mustafa.

How to prepare raw meatball

We are going to the one of the highest points of Toros Mountains together with my friend Ahmet Mithat. We planned to stay there for two nights and three days and to have long walks. Because these days are the end of our semester holiday in 2010 and this year it didn't snow in Konya so we missed to see snow.
